Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and inviting.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, dusting, and detailed cleaning of fixtures and furniture.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, reporting issues promptly.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure room readiness.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred; hospitality background is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when necessary with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple rooms efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; experience in housekeeping management is advantageous.
