Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Cumberland, WI
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $26–$34/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural, processing, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Support production by minimizing equipment downtime during harvest/pack season.
- Work with mechanics, operators, and supervisors to maintain safe and reliable operations.
- Follow GMP, food safety, and company safety procedures.
- Assist with facility and maintenance projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant mechanical or maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools; own basic hand tools required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak season.
- Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn.
- Welding/fabrication, hydraulics, electrical, or CDL experience is a plus.
