Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly PHONES Front of the House team member to provide exceptional guest services through efficient phone communication and reservation management. Duties
- Answer all incoming phone calls promptly with professional phone etiquette, providing clear and friendly communication
- Manage restaurant reservations accurately using our table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, wait times, and seating arrangements to enhance their experience
- Maintain organized reservation logs and update guest information efficiently to ensure smooth operations
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests with a positive attitude
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate seating and optimize table turnover
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols during guest interactions
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred, especially in a restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for processing reservations, managing waitlists, and handling guest payments if needed
- Excellent organizational skills to keep reservations and guest information well-maintained
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
