Job Summary

Assistant Duties
- Manage outgoing or incoming correspondence, including e-mail, letters, packages, etc.
- Coordinate material prep for study meetings, etc.
- Manage relationships with office reps
- Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills - Mail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets.
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Well-honed planning, time management, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Project Management: Assist with special projects, research, and analysis as needed to support the strategic goals of the organization.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Office Management: Oversee office logistics, supplies, and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Medical Assistant Duties
- Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times.
- Obtains short history and vital signs as required by patient’s chief complaint.
- Obtains or updates medication list if necessary.
- Sets up exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate physicians needs if non-scheduled procedure is likely.
- Assists physician with biopsies and surgical procedures such as excisions,
- ED&C, Cryo therapy, laser surgery, etc.
- Educates patient as required after physician establishes the treatment plan.
- Performs nursing procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, allergen patch testing, and chemical wart therapy, without direct physician supervision.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant required
- Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills - Mail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets
- Solid experience with calendar management, travel coordination, expense reports, maintaining schedules, managing special projects
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Professional work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Well-honed planning, time management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
