Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and attentive Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering food orders efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing plates and sanitizing surfaces
- Support food preparation and setup for service, including assisting with plating when needed
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures according to health regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries
- Ensure all dining areas are stocked with necessary supplies and utensils
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with serving, bussing, and food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Banquet experience, hotel experience, or culinary background is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Prior experience in guest services or customer service roles enhances success in this position
