Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for overseeing order fulfillment, processing, and handling customer inquiries. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues and escalations to support the day-to-day production operations of the business. The incumbent will support manufacturing by releasing, printing, and distributing work order packets and related documents. The work schedule is from 8:00 am to noon, Monday to Friday, there is some flexibility on the start and end times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- New order entry and validation
- Working with Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering to ensure timely order completion
- Communicate with the accounting team and management about purchase orders, sales orders, credit holds, and customer expedite requests
- Communicate with the customer on order acknowledgements, confirmations, ship dates, and/or adjustments
- Create work orders and prepare process sheets and work instructions
- Assist with warehouse activities related to consumables, stock levels, and inventory adjustments
- Ability to maintain professional conduct that always exemplifies corporate policies, particularly when interacting directly with internal and external customers
Education & Experience:
- Two-year post-secondary degree required
- Working experience in a customer-facing role desired
- Ability to respond to inquiries accurately and professionally
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
Location:
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
