Position Summary
We are searching for a warehouse associate, this position is responsible for warehouse needs at Lanae Mobile, AL location. This will include receiving and organizing inventory, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders for the business, in accordance with standardized policies in order to provide efficient, and profitable operations. Travel to other Lanae locations from time to time may be required.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Job hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with one hour lunch break.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Pick and pack products to fulfill orders
- Organize orders and load for pick ups
- Assists in ensuring all outgoing shipments of products meet company standards
- Operate order picker and forklift
- Visually inspects product, follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage
- Helps receive and organize inventory
- Maintains a clean work area
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling on all outgoing orders
- Performs other related duties
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Lift and move items up to 75 pounds
- Stand/walk for up to 10 hours
- Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
- Have the personal strength and stamina to walk briskly for most of the day throughout the facility
- Ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Show dependability and commitment
- Ability to work well with a team
- When applicable, provide a high level of customer service and be a strong representation of our company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
