We're looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. What You'll Do
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Perform general ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, debt service accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging, reserves, and financial trends to support informed decision-making.
- Process ACH transactions, remote deposits, and other treasury-related activities.
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports and assist with Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting.
- Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.
- Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Five or more years of progressive general ledger accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other analytical functions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living accounting experience is preferred but not required.
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
