Never Adolescent Treatment Center is seeking an experienced Lead Behavioral Health Technician (Lead BHT) to join our adolescent inpatient substance abuse treatment team. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in a residential or inpatient treatment setting and is passionate about supporting adolescents on their recovery journey. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 4:00pm - 12:00am
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Behavioral Health Technicians during assigned shifts.
- Provide direct supervision and therapeutic support to adolescent clients.
- Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment.
- Monitor client behavior and intervene appropriately during crises.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, room checks, and safety rounds.
- Facilitate shift communication and provide guidance to BHT staff.
- Document client observations and incidents accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
- Serve as a positive role model while promoting teamwork and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in an inpatient, residential, or substance abuse treatment setting is required.
- Prior Lead BHT or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience working with adolescents is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
