PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for picking up supplies from local suppliers and delivering Saris products to local retailers and distributors.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Follow the schedule of pick-ups and deliveries.

Do initial quality inspection upon the loading of the truck (i.e. visual acceptability).

Make sure truck is loaded in a manner that will not damage the products or the truck.

Be cooperative and polite with suppliers and on the road.

Perform general maintenance, cleaning and repairs on the truck.

Complete the appropriate pre-trip inspections and maintain appropriate trip records.

Provide feedback to the Production Supervisor on any issues suppliers convey.

Perform other duties as required or requested.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Must have 2+ years’ experience driving trucks.

Must drive carefully, cautiously, and obey all driving laws.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position while driving, approximately 75% of the time.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
