Job Summary
We’re a women-owned, Vietnamese & Asian-fusion café in Lawrence on Iowa St. We have specialty drinks like ceremonial matcha, boba tea, and Phin-style Vietnamese ca phe along with a variety of specialty meals & snacks!
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to learn how to prepare our menu and maintain our high standards. Your focus and attention to detail will be key in assembling our signature dishes and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment. Our goal is to bring something new to the community here in Lawrence and we wish to hire someone ready to embark on this journey with us.
Duties
- Set up, assemble, and prepare to serve food including pho, banh mi, spring rolls, and various appetizers.
- Operate stove equipment and manage food preparation with precision.
- Organize and manage order queues effectively during busy & slow periods to ensure timely, high-quality service.
- Perform consistent quality checks to ensure every dish meets our standards before it reaches the customer.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, especially in a professional kitchen environment.
- Comfortable with stove work and standard kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask during busy periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and assembly in a warm enviornment.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
