Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel contract assignment in Bay City, Michigan. This opportunity offers a consistent night-shift schedule, competitive compensation, and the potential for contract extension. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care and respiratory therapy experience and be comfortable working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer respiratory treatments, medications, oxygen therapy, CPAP, and BiPAP.
- Perform diagnostic testing and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and provide respiratory support in acute care settings.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
- Current experience in an acute care hospital setting
Required Certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP
Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,200.00 per week
