We believe that our success starts with our people, and we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our team and drive operational excellence.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall quality and performance of delivery operations. This role will lead and support a team of drivers, dispatchers, and fleet coordinators while fostering a professional, positive, and respectful work environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can balance accountability with employee support, improve operational performance, promote safety, and build a culture centered on teamwork and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily delivery operations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful route execution.
- Supervise and support delivery drivers, dispatchers, and fleet coordinators.
- Create and maintain a professional, positive, and productive work environment for all employees.
- Promote a workplace culture where safety, teamwork, respect, and accountability are the foundation of daily operations.
- Lead company safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure drivers deliver outstanding customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Manage the dispatch team and ensure effective driver scheduling, route support, and resolution of on-road issues.
- Oversee fleet coordinators and ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired, and returned to service promptly.
- Improve employee relations, employee engagement, and workforce retention.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize performance.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Prepare and present weekly operational performance reports to company ownership.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience in transportation, logistics, delivery operations, fleet management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $65,200.00 - $80,200.00 per year
