Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential property appraisals in compliance with USPAP and applicable lending guidelines
- Conduct property inspections and market analysis
- Prepare accurate, well-supported, and timely appraisal reports
- Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, homeowners, and internal staff
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal appraisal regulations
- Manage assignments efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Certified Residential Appraiser credential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to report quality
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with common business software and digital workflows
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and appraisal platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using TOTAL by a la mode appraisal software
- Familiarity with appraisal form-filling, report management, and digital appraisal workflows
- Current FHA Appraiser Certification (preferred)
- Prior experience completing FHA, conventional, and lender-specific appraisal assignments
License/Certification
- Texas Certified Residential Appraiser License (Required)
- FHA Appraiser Certification (Preferred)
