Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Assistant Supervisor of Patient Financial Services follows the hospitals and department’s mission to meet its objectives in maximizing reimbursement for services provided and ensuring timely cash flow. He/she also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assists them with financial hardship in the most cost effective means possible.

Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Knowledge of, and experience , third party and manager care insurance coverage.
- Good knowledge of, and experience with, third party insurance billing regulations, requirements, and collection procedures.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Good organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Healthcare computer systems knowledge.
- Medical terminology and coding knowledge.
