Job Summary

Duties
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development, literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning strategies.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track student progress, deliver instructional content, and facilitate parent communication.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with diverse abilities, including those requiring special education support or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques and conflict resolution strategies to foster positive behavior and engagement.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student performance data through quantitative analysis to evaluate progress and inform instructional adjustments within frameworks such as Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational compliance to ensure adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Support holistic development by incorporating activities for physical education, library services, toddler care, preschool experience, and Montessori or other specialized educational approaches.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, instructional design, writing skills for early learners, behavior management, and teaching physical education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- 12 Core ECE College Units
- Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and integrating learning technology into daily instruction.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to early childhood programs.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with effective conflict management techniques.
- Ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative assessment of progress and instructional effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Prior experience in private school environments or Montessori-based classrooms is a plus.
