Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous and clear communication, assisting with reservations and questions
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and positivity
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation protocols during service
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous but not required
- MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
