Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, providing structured support and implementing treatment plans that foster long-term sobriety and overall well-being. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to guide and encourage clients on their journey to recovery, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support. This position requires a deep understanding of addiction, relapse prevention strategies, and a passion for helping others rebuild their lives.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized recovery plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Monitor and document client progress, including emotional and behavioral responses to interventions.
- Assist clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and addiction treatment regulations.
- Foster a supportive and sober environment by encouraging accountability and positive lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with families, sponsors, and other support networks to strengthen client recovery efforts.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities focused on addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, and crisis management.
Experience
- Previous experience in addiction recovery support, social work, behavioral health, or peer mentorship is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and harm reduction approaches is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of relapse prevention techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and sober living support is essential.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements in addiction treatment settings.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
