The Site Manager is responsible for site level operation of the KC-46 Aircrew Training System (ATS) program elements assigned to the site. Responsibilities include site activation, training program implementation, directing scheduled activities, budgeting, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling integration of all site management facets.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, experience, and training required
- Master's degree in Aviation or Management is highly desirable
- Experience as a military tanker Pilot/Boom Operator Instructor or receiver Pilot Instructor required
- Five years of experience required in an ATS environment, of which at least two years as a Manager or Supervisor is preferred
- Morally and ethically influence others to successfully achieve program goals
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English
- Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess basic ATS knowledge
- Possess basic knowledge of maintenance activities, policies, and procedures
- Possess basic knowledge of personal computers and software applications, such as word processing applications, spreadsheets, and databases
- Possess basic knowledge of government proposals and contracts
- Possess basic knowledge of the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process
- Possess basic knowledge of aircrew scheduling
- Currently possess, or demonstrate ability to obtain, a SECRET clearance
