Responsibilities
- Transport the students from the local Elementary Schools to our facility.
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Facilitate a variety of youth activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects
- Maintain a positive behavior management approach to promote respectful interactions and cooperation among children
- Assist with homework help and tutoring to support academic growth and confidence
- Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including administering basic first aid or CPR in emergencies
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and developmental need.
- Light Cleaning and Front Desk administration.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or youth in educational, childcare, camp, or recreational settings
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect positively with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with special education needs or childhood development is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to various weather conditions during outdoor activities
- Demonstrated team leadership skills and the ability to facilitate youth group activities effectively
