We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide exceptional one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Caregiver, HHA (Home Health Aide), or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) provides one-on-one care for clients in their homes.
- Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transferring, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and document health changes, vital signs, weight, and height.
- Administer medications and follow care plans.
- Escort clients to appointments, outdoor activities, and errands.
- Offer emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to HIPAA and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED to work as a caregiver, CNA, or HHA (Home Health Aide).
- Minimum 1 year of caregiver experience (home health/private duty preferred).
- CPR certification (valid and current).
- Negative TB test (skin, blood, or chest X-ray).
- Ability to travel throughout Baltimore County.
- Availability: 15–20 hours/week, including every other weekend.
- Updated resume required.
- Physical ability to lift and assist clients.
- Nice to have: Experience supporting clients with dementia and can drive and have a car to transport clients.
