ARB is a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of high quality 4x4 and off-road accessories, including; air locking differentials, air compressors, bumpers, suspension systems, roof racks, skid plates, roof top tents, recovery gear, and more.
We are looking to add a motivated individual to our team in the role of Product Support Specialist. A qualified candidate will possess automotive knowledge, be comfortable working with customers via phone and email, ability to complete basic product repairs, and work successfully in a team environment. This is a great opportunity to utilize your automotive and 4x4 product knowledge within an office environment. This is a full time (M-F), in office position, located in Norco, CA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answering 50+ calls daily
- Responding to emails in an efficient and professional manner
- Inspect and repair products under warranty
- Provide part details such as measurements, weight, photos of the product, etc. to other members of the team
- Frequently reviewing Zendesk inbox for new warranty claims and customer inquiries
- Providing quick, detailed, responses to all warranty and product related inquiries
- Assisting customers with vehicle specific questions including – fitment, product selection, and product installation
- Reply to live chats on ARB website
- Report on warranty claim data
- Conduct market research to gain understanding regarding how ARB products compare to competitor products
- Utilizing critical thinking to provide solutions/suggestions to customers
- Working closely with other departments as needed including Product Management, Customer Service, Sales, etc.
- Search ARB database for additional installation instructions, product
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills:
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Basic Mechanical knowledge required
- Knowledge of vehicle drivetrains and various suspension systems preferred
- Ability to diagnose defective products
- Courteous and professional phone presence
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of Zendesk and JDE software is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
