Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance to assist customers in selecting suitable vehicles and services.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand.
- Utilize POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales transactions, and receipt processing while maintaining excellent cashiering standards.
- Negotiate vehicle prices, financing options, and service packages to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
- Maintain organized records using Microsoft Excel or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for sales tracking, inventory management, and service history.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote dealership offerings through effective communication skills and customer outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments with a strong understanding of automotive service and repair processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual settings preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair terminology.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS platforms, Microsoft Excel, and retail math for accurate calculations and reporting.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as stocking, cashiering, and order fulfillment efficiently.
- Prior experience with dealership operations including inventory control, deal management, and customer service excellence is highly desirable.
