American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with active licensure, ARRT/RT(T) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a Radiation Oncology position in Miles City, MT.

Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department

Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Uses Epic for electronic medical records

Active state license required if applicable

Current BLS certification (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date

ARRT and RT(T) certifications required

Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program required

Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience required

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Administer ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes per Radiation Oncologist prescription

Responsible for patient simulation in preparation for radiation therapy, including cerrobend block fabrication and port film development

Verifies treatment MUs and beam energy, and documents cumulative dose, treatment parameters, billing information, and patient care records in Epic

Prepares treatment room and equipment per prescription, including immobilization devices, blocks, and field size setup

Participates in quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and safety checklist completion

Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
