We're looking for a part-time or contract attorney to join us and grow into a larger role as our practice expands, with the potential to move to full-time as workload and budget allow.
This is a great opportunity for an attorney early in their career who wants hands-on training in a specialized, high-growth practice area, with real client contact and mentorship from day one.
What you'll work on:
- Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Assisting with guardianship petitions and elder law/Medicaid planning matters
- Supporting probate and estate administration matters
- Client meetings and communication as you develop experience and confidence in these areas
What we're looking for:
- Active law license in New York (NJ license a plus, or willingness to pursue one)
- New or early-career attorney, prior estate planning experience helpful but not required, we'll train the right person
- Strong writing and communication skills, detail-oriented
- Eager to learn, takes direction well, and wants to build long-term expertise in this practice area
- Reliable and organized, comfortable working independently once trained
Arrangement:
Starting as part-time or contract, with flexible hours to be discussed. This role has a clear growth path to full-time employment as the practice scales, for the right candidate who's a strong fit.
