Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems including air conditioning units, mini splits and RTUs
- Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute tasks.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC equipment using hand tools, ohmmeters, and electrical testing devices to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity of equipment.
- Support service technicians with equipment repair tasks involving plumbing, refrigeration, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair.
- Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for each assigned project.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs or system issues while providing excellent customer service throughout every interaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience working as an HVAC technician or in a related construction or service technician role.
- Some mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair and installation.
- Some Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration technology.
- Practical experience with hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools (such as ohmmeters), and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- EPA certification and TDLR required
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of explaining technical issues clearly to clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
