Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm, is seeking an Attorney to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Represent and advise clients on litigation and business-related legal matters

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents

Analyze legal and factual issues and provide practical recommendations and solutions

Manage matters from inception through resolution while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met

Appear in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related matters

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness

Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment

Maintain organized case management practices and prioritize competing responsibilities

Support firm initiatives and contribute positively to team culture and professional development efforts
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, and active bar admission is required

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
-
Knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and evidence is required

Courtroom experience required; jury trial experience is a plus, but not required
-
Business education and/or prior business experience preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Professional, proactive, responsive, and client-service-oriented mindset

Ability to work effectively in an in-office, collaborative environment
