JOB SUMMARY:
As an Asphalt CDL Driver, you will safely operate Class B dump trucks to transport asphalt, aggregate, and equipment to and from job sites. This role is critical to keeping paving operations running efficiently and on schedule.
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully perform the essential duties of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Class B dump trucks safely on public roads and job sites
- Transport asphalt, stone, and materials to paving and maintenance sites
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
- Safely maneuver trucks around crews, equipment, and active work zones
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned trucks
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Previous asphalt or construction experience preferred
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
- Valid Class A or B CDL (no E restriction required)
- Ability to work long hours, overtime, and weekends as required (Typical schedule may include up to six days per week during peak season)
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
