The Instructional Assistant works under the direction of certified teaching staff and is part of the classroom team responsible for supporting students’ educational programs. They share the responsibility for the safety and general care of students throughout the school day. Fun and rewarding job!

Responsibilities:
- Supervise students at all times to ensure their safety.
- Helps to prepare instructional materials, collects data, and performs other instructional tasks as assigned.
- Performs under the direction of certified staff, which may include such tasks as operating equipment, helping with special health care needs and toileting when needed, supervision and teaching of students, and being an important part of the classroom team.
- Assists with communicating with hearing and vision impaired students.
*Good attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.
