As we expand our laser services, we are seeking a Remote Physician (MD/DO) to virtually support medical clearance and pre-procedure assessments to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
Role Overview
This is a non-procedural; fully remote role focused on reviewing patient histories and determining medical eligibility for aesthetic laser treatments through virtual consultations. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe patient selection, minimizing risk, and supporting the clinical team with clear medical guidance. Ideal for physicians seeking flexible, remote work without hands-on procedural responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical history, intake forms, and treatment goals prior to laser procedures
- Conduct virtual consultations (as needed) to assess patient suitability
- Provide medical clearance or contraindication guidance for treatments such as: Laser hair removal, Skin resurfacing, Skin rejuvenation therapies
- Identify risk factors, contraindications, and necessary precautions
- Collaborate with onsite providers (NPs, RNs, aestheticians) on safe treatment planning Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in New Jersey (required)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in a relevant specialty
- Strong understanding of patient screening, risk assessment, and clinical safety
- Experience in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or laser treatments
- Familiarity with medical spa workflows and protocols
- Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Comfortable conducting telehealth-style evaluations
Compensation & Schedule
- $100 per consult
- 100% remote, part-time, flexible schedule
