Schedule: Full time
Compensation: $47.40/hr Union Rate (Asphalt Roller)( Sweeper operator)

You will be operating the most modern paving equipment in the industry and you will network with a highly skilled workforce. Constructing projects with maximum safety, efficiency and quality, the operator will be required to perform daily tasks assigned by the foreman and/or superintendent effectively and professionally. He/she should not be afraid to ask questions or clarifications when the task is not familiar with their background and experience or when the precise means for the operation are not obvious or clear.

· Ability to follow safety protocols
Competencies for the position:
· Two (2) years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment Sweeper, roller, paver, MTV, or skid-steer.
· Willing to work day or night shifts depending on schedules
· Team player willing to take directions from Waters paving superintendent or foreman.
· Compliant and responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of your assigned equipment.
· OSHA 10 hour
· Current CT driver's license
· Reliable personal transportation and willing to travel within CT
· Can work day or night shifts depending on schedules
· Can work Overtime when needed
· Experience in site development / heavy highway / paving / ( 2 year)
· Willingness to learn
· High school diploma or GED
