Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Program Supervisor to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our Magnetic Resonance Imaging program. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the MRI Program Director to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies, guide faculty and students, coordinate externships, and support curriculum and accreditation efforts. Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Administration
- Support daily operations of the MRI Program, ensuring compliance with ABHES, ARMRIT, and other accrediting standards.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to administer personnel policies.
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Assist with budget planning and resource allocation.
- Provide regular program updates to the Director and CEO.
Student & Faculty Oversight
- Assist with recruitment, selection, and evaluation of student candidates.
- Coordinate externship programs, including clinical site affiliation agreements.
- Monitor student performance, attendance, academic progress, and resolve disciplinary matters.
- Schedule and coordinate tutorial sessions for students needing academic support.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to ensure program quality and continuous improvement.
Faculty Development & Support
- Oversee instructor orientation, training, and evaluations.
- Maintain monthly teaching schedules and ensure faculty compliance with program policies.
- Organize in-service training and maintain related records.
- Conduct regular faculty meetings and classroom visits.
Accreditation & Compliance
- Coordinate accreditation processes with ARMRIT, ABHES, and ARRT.
- Prepare and submit reports to accrediting agencies.
- Ensure the program consistently meets accreditation standards.
Curriculum Development
- Review and update curriculum to align with industry standards.
- Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and lifelong learning.
- Review and update textbooks annually for relevance.
Community & Industry Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with externship sites and industry partners.
- Represent the program at meetings, events, and professional organizations.
- Stay current on MRI education trends and advancements.
Schedule
- Required to work Saturdays with students.
- An additional 3–4 workdays per week, with up to 2 days remote.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Active ARRT certification (ARMRIT preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in MRI education, administration, or healthcare leadership.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
