We are a Retina Practice with offices in 3 different locations, Fort Myers, Naples and Port Charlotte.
We are currently looking for an Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant to join our clinical team
Preferred and Required experience includes:
* Retina and/or Ophthalmology work experience a must
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
* Computer/EMR proficient (next tech is a plus)
* Perform various tests and tasks such as: (but not limited to)
Comprehensive Patient Workup, OCT, FUNDUS, FA Vien sticks, Visual Field, Scribe, Chart prep, ERG/VEP, IOL Master, B Scan
*Accurate documentation
*Knowledge of Coding for Diagnosis and procedures
*Spanish speaking a plus!
TRAVELING IS REQUIRED 2 TIMES A WEEK TO SATELLITE OFFICES WITH TRAVEL PAY
Must be a team player, able to multi- task, always be professional and have reliable transportation to travel to each office location.
Will train but must have some experience in Ophthalmology
