Dietary Aide
Faithful Living, a welcoming personal care community in Denver, PA, is currently seeking a full-time Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dedicated team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys serving others and working in a supportive team environment. Paid training provided!
Position Overview:
As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality food service to our residents, their families, staff, and guests. You’ll work under the supervision of the Cook or Dietary Coordinator to help create a positive dining experience for everyone in our community.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrates good personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Able to follow directions and benefit from supervision
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Set tables and prepare dining areas for meals
- Serve meals and beverages to residents and guests
- Assist residents with menu choices as needed
- Ensure timely delivery of meals, beverages, and condiments
- Clear and clean tables after meals
- Operate dishwasher and properly store clean dishes
- Wash, dry, and store pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment
- Take out trash and maintain a clean work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Must be available to work holidays and every other weekends
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- 1 year of cooking experience
- 1 year of experience in a dietary department
- ServSafe Certification
