Childcare Provider/Personal Assistant
● Provide childcare for 8 year old girl and 4 year old girl at Mother’s place of work (Medical Office)/Personal assistance and cleaning at the medical office
● Must be legal to work in USA
● Non smoking only, Non substance abusers only, Must consent to background check and drug testing
● Must be able to abstain from social media/personal phone use, etc during working hours
● Strongly prefer bilingual Spanish(for children)/English(for parents). Candidate will be expected to speak Spanish with children except during homework help where English will be allowed
● Must have reliable transportation
● Must have active drivers license/insurance
● Must be physically active and strong enough to actively exercise with children at nearby playground/park
● Prefer (but not necessary) if have certified Lifesaving skills and comfort with swimming supervision
● Must be energetic and positive and oversee imaginative unstructured activities and also structured activities (homework, learning age appropriate skills etc) as recommended by parents
● Must be open to working within a professional medical environment and assisting with some office duties and personal assistance (cleaning office, bathrooms, kitchen, playroom is required, shipping/mailing, making coffee, etc)
● Must be able to adhere to all recommendations of parents regardless of personal beliefs (ie avoidance of screen time, only allow nutritious food provided by parents, only use discipline methods recommended by parents, etc)
● Must be comfortable helping children pray before meals and reading books that might involve Catholic values
● No previous formal work experience is required but strongly prefer candidate to have experience babysitting friends/family or have had a previous related work experience
● Schedule template most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm and usually one Friday or Saturday from 2pm to 11pm.
● Pay will be commensurate with skill but will likely start $15 per hour to $19 per hour with opportunity to increase to $20 per hour within 1 year.
● Ideal candidate should be able to offer services for at least 1 year but 3 years is preferred
