Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Update medical records
- Preform EKG examinations
- Process patient orders and send prescriptions
- Confirm pharmacies
- Answer patient questions
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Administer injections
Skills
- Experience preferred as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Experiance using ECW (eClinical Works)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in faxing, typing
- Degree in medical assistance
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support

- Basic life support certification
- Patient service experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
