Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant State’s Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will serve as a prosecutor, handling a felony caseload. Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute criminal cases, including arraignments, motions, trials, and sentencing hearings with confidence and professionalism.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
- Draft motions and pleadings that are clear, precise, and compelling.
- Engage in negotiations with defense attorneys to resolve cases efficiently while safeguarding the public interest.
- Provide open line of communication to law enforcement officers .
Skills
- Experience in trial preparation, legal motion drafting, and courtroom advocacy.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate persuasively in complex cases.
- Ability to communicate effectively with victims, colleagues, judges, and law enforcement.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
