Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Area Manager specializing in Janitorial services to lead and oversee cleaning operations across multiple facilities within a designated region. As an Area Manager - Janitorial, you will be responsible for managing teams, implementing cleaning protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise janitorial staff across multiple locations, fostering a team-oriented and motivated work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality standards aligned with client expectations and industry best practices.
- Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to safety regulations, health standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
- Address client concerns promptly, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial management within commercial, industrial, or hospitality settings.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively, with a strong focus on leadership and staff development.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, safety regulations, and best practices in facility management.
- Prior experience managing multiple sites or locations as an Area Manager or similar role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laundry services or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, clients, and vendors effectively.
