We are looking to add a Registered Dental Hygienist to our dental practice. The practice is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a positive, hard-working, and motivated hygienist. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organization skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare rooms and instruments for use during patient care.
- Collect patients' medical and dental histories.
- Perform preventative dental care.
- Chart dental conditions
- Screen patients during check-ups
- Educating patients about proper oral hygiene and providing recommendations.
- Review exam findings, treatment planning, and ensure patients' questions are thoroughly answered.
- Schedule follow up appointments.
- Disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize all equipment.
Qualifications:
- Current registered dental hygienist (RDH) license required.
- Preferred two years as a registered dental hygienist performing chairside dental care.
- Experience administering dental x-rays.
- Technical skills and proficiency with dental software.
- Exceptional patient service and communication skills.
- Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
