A highly rated skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is currently seeking an experienced Activities Director to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic professional who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging programming and meaningful activities.
Requirements:
Activities Director Certification (ADC) preferred
Previous nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, and support staff and volunteers within the activities department
Develop, coordinate, and evaluate recreational and social programs tailored to resident interests and needs
Coordinate entertainment and special events for residents
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and documentation requirements
Assist with carrying out scheduled programs and activities as needed
Foster a positive, engaging environment for residents and staff alike
