The inventory Specialist position is responsible for supplies in our warehouse. This position manages inventory and fulfills employees’ requisitions for PPE and tools. A supply room clerk maintains employees supply storage locations, monitors and fulfill any needs.
DESCRIPTION

Ensure all parameters of Safety, Food Safety and Quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the plant.

Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.

Tracking stock levels, updating inventory databases, and identifying potential stock shortages.
-
Is responsible for assigning received items to designated locations.
-
Maintains inventory records, checks shelves, verifies inventory levels, and tracks supply movement.
-
Compares the Receipt Transaction Report to ensure that the correct quantity and product have been received and stores them in the supply room.

Records received items in the inventory system, including quantity, condition, and location, following established safety and organizational procedures.

Prepares damaged or incorrect items for return to suppliers.

Prepares and documents damaged equipment for repair shipment.
-
Ensures the safe storage and handling of supplies, following policies and procedures.

Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical products.

Maintains accurate records of transactions related to supply requests from users and different departments.

Ensures that delivered materials are correct, meet specifications, and are in the required quantities.

Maintains process documentation related to purchase requisitions, inventory, and movements.

Communicates regularly with the Supply Room Manager to clarify any issues related to orders or deliveries.

WORKING CONDITIONS
