Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service and detailed information about kayak rentals and available activities
- Operate rental equipment efficiently while ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with organizing and managing recreational events, including setting up equipment, coordinating guest participation, and troubleshooting issues promptly
- Enforce safety rules related to water activities, including lifeguard protocols when applicable
- Handle cash transactions accurately for rentals and event admissions while maintaining proper records
- Manage guest inquiries confidently through public speaking and clear communication skills
- Support guest services by working with children and families to ensure a positive experience in a hospitality-focused environment
Experience
- Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable
- Lifeguard experience or certification is preferred to ensure water safety oversight
- Strong conflict management skills to handle guest concerns or disputes effectively
- Customer service background with a focus on guest satisfaction in resort or recreational settings
- Working knowledge of food service or theater environments is a plus for supporting event activities or concessions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels and professionalism
