NOW HIRING – Experienced Line Cook

We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Line Cook with at least 2 years of professional kitchen experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant while maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Complete daily food preparation before and during service
- Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Set up and maintain an organized workstation
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate when items need to be restocked
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service
- Coordinate with head chef, other cooks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Line Cook in a professional restaurant kitchen
- Strong cooking, food preparation, and knife skills
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen supplies as needed
- Must be available to work weekends; evening availability is preferred
- Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience preparing Indonesian or Southeast Asian food
- Familiarity with Indonesian ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant kitchen
