Role Summary:
The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter is responsible for rigging up, rigging down, and the general maintenance of rig-site accommodations and rentals.
The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter Priorities / Responsibilities:
- Rigs up and down rig-site surface rental equipment and living quarters
- Installing semi-permanent water and sewer systems
- Performs minor electrical work related to light plants, generators and housing
- Coordinates with company site supervisors in location organization and planning
- Participates and coordinates in on-site installation of rig-site accommodations and equipment
- Monitors and coordinates logistics and transportation of company assets
- Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements including, but not limited to: completing daily Job Safety Analysis, pre/post-trip inspection reports, near miss and hazard reports
The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and housing troubleshooting, and repairs and a willingness to learn
- Customer service oriented
- Ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains
- Is always conscience of operating in and contributing to a safe work environment
- General Labor or Construction background a plus
- HVAC experience is a plus
Education or Certification required (if applicable):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to comply with fleet insurance regulations
- Must be able to pass a background check as well as a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
