Company Overview:
Dr. Susan Sklar's Hope for Burning Mouth is a small, yet expanding, medical practice in need of a reliable IT Technician for contracted, as-needed work. This role offers both remote and onsite opportunities and is integral in setting up and maintaining Mac and Windows computers systems, and printers for our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer systems and networks specific to our needs.
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi to ensure smooth office operations.
- Conduct as-needed maintenance on PCs, printers, and other hardware.
- Collaborate with our team to recommend and implement new, efficient systems that are compliant with healthcare standards.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, preferably with experience in medical practice settings.
- Familiarity with network protocols, cloud computing, and healthcare-specific tech needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
