The Sales Assistant Lead plays a key role in driving the success of the Residential Sales team by identifying training opportunities, developing best practices, and supporting the growth and performance of Sales Assistants. Identify training opportunities for Sales Assistants to support enterprise goals and improve performance.

Host monthly calls and training sessions to elevate the Sales Assistant role.

Develop, monitor, and review Sales Assistant KPIs to drive accountability and consistency.

Establish and document best practices and standard operating procedures for Sales Assistant functions.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support scalable growth.

Work closely with Territory Managers and Sales Engineers to align training and performance objectives.

Provide mentorship and facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing development for new and existing Sales Assistants.

Deliver professional training presentations to cross-functional teams using PowerPoint and other tools.

Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales staff; set daily performance goals and provide regular feedback.

Serve as the primary resource for system optimization, user adoption, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Report on system usage and performance metrics, including tools such as Zoho, Quote Pro, and Electronic Catalog.

Host monthly meetings to review process updates, gather feedback, and communicate policy changes.

Act as a liaison between the Sales Assistant team and leadership, providing updates and communicating changes.

Collaborate with other departments to align on company and enterprise goals.

Maintain and prepare regular sales reports and business metrics for management.

Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

3-5 years of productive sales experience
-
3+ years of HVAC industry experience

Experience training and mentoring associates
-
Experience working with customers across various verticals (Residential New Construction, Multifamily, Commercial, Add-on Replacement)

College degree preferred

Management experience preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, and CRM systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills

Demonstrated selling ability and relationship-building skills

Ability to interpret and forecast changes in customer buying patterns and product requirements

Annual salary range: $72,500$80,000
