Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. The position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, and other critical components. Technicians will also be responsible for inspecting equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems, and ensuring all work is completed in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of diesel systems, and the ability to manage workloads effectively. Our technicians play a key role in keeping our fleet operational and supporting overall company performance.
Job Requirements:
- Diesel mechanic/technician experience preffered
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license (CDL preffered but not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a shop environment
- Strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
