Wills Eye Hospital is hiring a Plant Operations Technician in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems within a healthcare environment. This is a Full-Time 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) opportunity for someone who wants to ensure a safe, compliant, and fully functional facility by supporting plant operations, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting systems, and assisting with regulatory compliance activities.

In this role, you’ll support the Director of Facilities. You’ll manage mechanical and utility systems, preventative and corrective maintenance, and regulatory compliance and safety.

Assists with the operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, steam, and other complex mechanical and electrical building systems.
Troubleshoots and maintains core plant systems including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, steam systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, compressors, pumps, cooling towers, air handling and distribution systems, motors, and basic electrical and control systems.
Repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing systems, fixtures, and related mechanical or electrical equipment.

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in plant operations, facilities maintenance, or building engineering, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment
