Will need to travel to different site locations in Sanford, NC
Need to have flexible availability to work
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Security Flex Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings, access points, and perimeter to detect suspicious activity.
- Enforce access control policies and verify identification of visitors and employees.
- Respond ly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as property damage or theft.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency personnel, and management as required.
- Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees to promote a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to observe, assess, and report security concerns accurately and professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
- Must comply with any state or local licensing requirements applicable in North Carolina.
