QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

Two year degree or higher or 60 credits toward a degree.

Strong reading, writing and math skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
-
Ability to problem solve, be sensitive to the needs of academically challenged students.

Ability to supervise children in a positive manner.
-
Knowledge of discipline policies & procedures.
-
Ability to follow the teacher's plan & direction; monitor situation in the classroom & adjust accordingly.
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-
Experience working with children.
